About Masonry & It's Advantages

Masonry is the building of structures from individual units. The common materials of masonry construction are brick, concrete block & glass block. Masonry is a highly durable form of construction. Masonry is commonly used for walls and buildings.

Brick and concrete block are the most common types of masonry in use in industrialized projects. Concrete blocks, especially with hollow cores, offer various possibilities in masonry construction. They provide great compression strength and are best suited to structures with light transverse loading when the cores remain unfilled.
